Rameela Patel has been working as an AR Accountant at American Physiological Society since October 2006. In their previous role, Rameela processed annual dues and subscriptions, as well as claims for missing journals.

The American Physiological Society (APS) is a community that champions the discipline of physiology. Our mission: To advance scientific discovery, understand life, and improve health. As a nonprofit devoted to fostering education, scientific research, and dissemination of information in the physiological sciences, we focus on supporting our 10,000+ members in their efforts to solve the major problems affecting life and health. Most APS members have doctoral degrees in physiology and/or medicine (or other health professions). APS is headquartered in Rockville, Md. We are a member of the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB), a coalition of independent societies that plays an active role in lobbying for the interests of biomedical scientists.
