Emma Crutchfield

Emma Crutchfield is a communications professional with extensive experience in advocacy and marketing within the fields of speech-language pathology and education. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Advocacy Communications at the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) since June 2023, Emma previously held the role of Communications and Marketing Manager at the Council for Exceptional Children from January to June 2023. Emma's long tenure at ASHA from August 2015 to December 2022 included diverse roles such as Manager of Member & Affiliate Communications, Marketing Assistant, and Accounts Manager for Membership & Sales. Earlier experience includes serving as General Manager at Pupatella from December 2012 to August 2016, where responsibilities encompassed managing operations and marketing for a high-volume pizzeria. Emma earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from James Madison University in 2012.
