Nan Bernstein Ratner

Nan Bernstein Ratner is a seasoned academic and professional in the field of hearing and speech sciences, serving as a Professor and Department Chair at the University of Maryland since 1983. With a rich background in applied psycholinguistics, having obtained a Doctor of Education from Boston University, Bernstein Ratner is a founding member of the University of Maryland Autism Research Consortium and has held various positions, including participating faculty in multiple interdisciplinary fields. Professional contributions also include serving as a liaison for the American Association for the Advancement of Science and holding presidential roles within the International Fluency Association.
