Regina (Escano) Zappi, AuD, CCC-A, serves as the Associate Director of Audiology Practices at The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) since January 2019, where expertise is utilized to address trends and issues in the Audiology profession while developing professional development opportunities and resources for ASHA members. Previous experience includes roles as a Clinical Audiologist at The GW Medical Faculty Associates, where comprehensive hearing evaluations were conducted, and as a Pediatric Audiologist at both The HSC Health Care System and Miami Children's Hospital, focusing on newborn and pediatric hearing assessments. Regina also contributed as an Audiology Doctoral Extern at Boston Children's Hospital and as a Research Assistant at the Institute for Learning and Brain Sciences at the University of Washington. Regina earned a Doctor of Audiology (AuD) from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Marymount Manhattan College.
