Catherine Preston Connolly

Catherine Preston Connolly is an experienced attorney with a focus on real estate and environmental law. Currently serving as the Managing Attorney at American Tower since October 2012, Catherine oversees a team of attorneys managing long-term real estate interests related to tower assets. Previous roles at American Tower include Supervising Attorney and Attorney II in the US Tower Division, where responsibilities encompassed the development of new tower sites and transaction documentation. Catherine has also contributed to the Cambridge Planning Board as a member from March 2013 to June 2024 and volunteered with the Volunteer Lawyers Project of the Boston Bar Association. Prior legal experience includes a position as a Real Estate and Environmental Attorney at Bowditch & Dewey, LLP, and a Law Clerk role at Anderson & Kreiger LLP. Earlier in career history, Catherine worked as a PTDM Planning Officer for the City of Cambridge and as a Policy Analyst for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Catherine holds a JD from Boston College Law School and a dual degree in Urban Studies and Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
