Jeffrey Brown

Jeffrey Brown currently serves as the Assistant Vice President and Dean of Students at American University, a position held since October 2018. Previously, Brown had a long tenure at Clemson University from 2000 to 2018, where roles included Associate Dean of Students and Director of New Student and Family Programs, overseeing a significant budget, orientation programs, and student retention initiatives. Additional experience includes leadership positions in residential life and first-year experience programs at both Clemson and Bradley University, as well as involvement with the South Carolina College Personnel Association. Brown holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Bradley University and a Master's degree in Education from Clemson University.
