Kenneth Proops

Kenneth Proops, DO, has extensive experience in the medical field, currently serving as Physician Advisor, Medical Director of the Hospitalist Department at the Memorial Division, and Hospitalist Physician at Charleston Area Medical Center since July 2016. Additionally, Kenneth holds the position of Associate Clinical Professor at both West Virginia University and the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine since January 2017. Telemedicine responsibilities include roles as a Telemedicine Physician for American Well, Teladoc Health, and previously WellVia. Kenneth started as a Hospitalist Physician at Roane General Hospital from January 2017 to December 2018 and was Chief Resident at the CAMC/WVU Department of Internal Medicine Residency from July 2015 to June 2016. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Osteopathy from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (2009-2013) and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry with a minor in Management from Wittenberg University (2003-2007).
