Ann Petros

Ann Petros is currently the Vice President of Policy Engagement & Credit Union Operations at America's Credit Unions, where responsibilities include overseeing the Compliance Team and Grassroots & State Outreach Team, as well as managing advocacy committees to gather member input. Prior to this role, Ann served as the Head of Regulatory Advocacy, leading efforts to engage with key federal agencies like the National Credit Union Administration and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Ann has extensive experience in regulatory affairs, having held the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs position at NAFCU from June 2016 to January 2024, and previously serving as both Director of Regulatory Affairs and Senior Regulatory Affairs Counsel. Ann's early legal career includes positions as Regulatory Affairs Counsel at Binnall Law Group, Law Clerk roles at Levine, Daniels & Allnutt, PLLC and the U.S. Department of the Treasury, as well as a Legal Intern position at First American Title. Ann holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from George Mason University, a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Binghamton University, and an MBA in Real Estate from Florida State University.
