Masi Tammela is an experienced professional in additive manufacturing and mechanical engineering, currently serving as an AM Specialist at AMEXCI since January 2022, focusing on the planning and operations of an additive manufacturing facility. Prior to this, Masi held the position of Additive Manufacturing Manager at Lillbacka Powerco Oy, where responsibilities included integrating additive manufacturing into production processes and driving business growth in the sector. Masi also contributed to research as a master's thesis worker by optimizing processes for metal additive tool manufacturing. Previous roles include Solution Sales Specialist at Virta Ltd., and Final Assembler of Electrical Motors at ABB Motors and Mechanical Inc. Masi holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Aalto University and has studied at Technische Universität Graz, building a solid academic foundation alongside extensive practical experience in various engineering and sales roles.

Since December 2023, AMEXCI’s materials laboratory is accredited for ISO/IEC 17025 by SWEDAC, with accreditation number 10577.
