Paul Couchman

Paul Couchman is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in programme and project management across various sectors. Currently serving as Principal Engineering Manager at Amey since July 2015, Paul oversees infrastructure projects for Kent County Council and supports highways business development throughout the South East of England. Prior to this role, Paul held key leadership positions at Arup, managing Highways and Aviation projects, and at BAA, where responsibilities included the commercial management of significant capital works at Gatwick Airport. With a background in marketing and project engineering from roles at Fidelity Investments, NatWest Bank, and PSA, Paul possesses a strong foundation in both technical and commercial aspects of project delivery. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham.
