Isma Benattia

Isma Benattia, MD, MBA, serves as a Biopharma Executive at APhaRC, LLC since January 2024. Previously, Isma held multiple roles at Amgen from August 2013, including Vice President, Head of R&D Strategy and Operations, and Vice President for Medical Affairs in Europe and Global Safety. Prior to Amgen, Isma was VP of Global Patient Safety and Risk Management at Genzyme and spent over a decade at Wyeth in various leadership positions, including Executive VP of Global Consumer Research & Development. Isma's career began as a Psychiatrist at Hôpital Avicenne and Hôpital de la Pitié Salpêtriere in Paris. Academic credentials include an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, a Master of Bioethics from the University of Pennsylvania, and degrees from Pierre and Marie Curie University, Paris-Sud University, and Université d'Alger.
