Xiaoyan Guan

Xiaoyan Guan is a highly experienced professional in the field of analytical chemistry, currently serving as a Sr. Principal Scientist and Team Lead at Amgen since May 2015. Responsibilities include leading the analytical sciences team to support pivotal-stage programs, developing and qualifying analytical methods, collaborating with cross-functional departments for product characterization, and serving as a subject matter expert in data analysis. Previous experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Associate position at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory focused on protein redox potentials and conformational epitope characterization, as well as a Graduate Teaching Associate role at The Ohio State University where innovative methods for protein analysis were developed. Academically, Xiaoyan holds a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from The Ohio State University and a B.S. in Chemistry from Fudan University.
