Kathleen Lister has worked in various roles in the software engineering industry since 2010. Kathleen began their career as a Supervisor, Student Worker at Brown University Dining Services in 2010. In 2012, they were a Software Engineering Intern at TripAdvisor, where they gained experience working in a large code base and fixing bugs. In 2013, they were a Software Engineering Intern at Meetup, where they fixed bugs and worked on a long term intern project to gamify Meetup which was released at the end of the summer. Kathleen then returned to TripAdvisor in 2014 as a Software Engineer. In 2017, they became Self-employed as a Software Engineer. Most recently, they have been a Front-End Tech Lead and Senior Software Engineer at Amira Learning since 2018.
Kathleen Lister attended duPont Manual High School from 2006 to 2010, after which they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Latin American and Caribbean Studies from Brown University in 2014.
