Nigel Vining

Nigel Vining is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in data engineering and optimization. Currently serving as the Chief DataOps Engineer and Co-Founder at AgileData.io since January 2019, Nigel is focused on revolutionizing managed data platforms through a SaaS solution. A Data Warehouse Developer at AMP New Zealand since October 2014, Nigel has contributed to the design and support of a robust Enterprise DB2 Data Warehouse. Previous roles include GCP Data Ops Engineer at Woolworths Group, Qlik Sense Developer at NZ Transport Agency, and MapR Data Automation Engineer at Accident Compensation Corporation. As a Director at Vining Consulting Limited since September 2012, Nigel provides innovative solutions incorporating cutting-edge technologies. Nigel's career also includes positions such as Application Developer for the New Zealand Ministry of Justice and Lead Consultant at Indigo New Zealand, complemented by entrepreneurship with Greenskate Electric Skateboards.
