Ampere Analysis
Orina Zhao is an accomplished research manager at Ampere Analysis since October 2018, with a strong focus on data modeling, client engagement, and project planning. Previously, Orina held roles as a senior analyst and data analyst at Ampere, leading research in the APAC region and producing insightful reports on the media landscape in countries such as China, India, and Japan. Orina gained valuable experience as a campaign intern at Greenpeace, analyzing China's coastal fishing conditions and contributing to legal research on fisheries law, as well as serving as chief journalist at the university media outlet 107 Investigation, where over 20 in-depth articles were published. Additional journalism experience includes an internship at Xinhua, where social media updates were managed during the 2016 Rio Olympics. Orina's educational background includes a Master of Philosophy in International Relations and Politics from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Laws in International Relations and Diplomacy from Beijing Foreign Studies University.
