He has worked on investigational new drug-enabling studies, vaccines and treatments for infectious diseases, nerve agent medical countermeasures, and has conducted studies that examined the toxicity and/or pharmacology of proposed treatments for hemophilia, respiratory disease, and cancer.
Dean earned a Master of Science in Animal Sciences from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences/Biology from the University of Florida.
