Helena Seelinger, CAE, is currently the Executive Director & Chief Regulatory and Public Relations Officer at AMPP: Association for Materials Protection and Performance, which was formed after the merger of NACE International & SSPC in January 2021. In their role, they are responsible for overseeing the organization's budget, developing and executing board-driven strategic plans, and managing AMPP's programs for professional certification, company audits, and accreditation, political action and government relations, and public affairs. Previously, Seelinger worked at NACE International for 35 years in various roles, including Executive Director, Sr. Director for Membership Services, Public Affairs & Standards, Sr. Director for Marketing, Events, and Technical Activities, Director of Program Development, Director of Public Affairs, Director of Education, Director of Standards, and Standards Manager. In all their roles, they were accountable for achieving the organization's mission, developing budgets, and executing board-driven strategic plans.

Helena Seelinger, CAE earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations & Journalism from Michigan State University in 1986. Helena went on to earn their MBA from the University of Houston, completing their studies in 2000. Additionally, Helena Seelinger, CAE spent some time at Michigan State University's James Madison College, although it is unclear whether they received a degree or studied a specific field of study.
