Darren Wells

Darren Wells is an experienced professional in the field of composite materials and engineering, currently serving as a Senior Technical Fellow at AMRC since August 2014, where leadership focuses on technology research in Compression Moulding, Resin Transfer Moulding (RTM), and High Pressure Resin Transfer Moulding (HP-RTM). Previous roles include Engineering Shift Leader at Alliance Boots, overseeing maintenance teams and enhancing production efficiency, and Process Development Engineer at Cytec, managing various research projects and enhancing manufacturing processes. Early career experience includes significant contributions as a Production Engineer at Boots Healthcare International and technical support as a Formula Palmer Audi Race Technician. Darren holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Derby, complemented by higher education qualifications in Motorsport Technology and Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
