John Horton has over 35 years of work experience in the insurance industry. John started their career at FM Global in 1985 as an Account Executive, where they established the Asia-Pacific representative office and developed property insurance business. John then moved to SOREMA North America in 1997 as Vice President, Risk Property, managing the insurance branch operation and implementing underwriting strategies. In 2001, John joined Aon Natural Resources as a Broker - VP, specializing in marketing and property insurance broking for large cat-exposed, energy, and petrochemical companies. Since 2002, they have been working at AmRisc, serving as Chief Market Officer and EVP. Throughout their career, John has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and an ability to improve loss ratios and reduce expenses.

John Horton attended Texas A&M University from 1979 to 1984, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering.
