Christine Roche

Christine Roche currently serves as the Associate Director of Process Development Technical Leadership at Amyris since April 2023. Prior experience includes a role as Sr Staff Scientist and Technical Program Leader at Triplebar, where Christine built and led a team to create a hyper-throughput diversity generation and screening platform. At Zymergen, Christine held multiple positions, culminating in Associate Director - Technical Program Leader, where responsibilities included leading multidisciplinary teams and strategizing for a three-year product platform vision. Earlier roles involved managing significant projects to enhance strain performance and executing engineering cycles in microbial performance at various levels. Christine earned a PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, following a BS in Bioengineering from The University of Toledo.
