Nikita Ojha

Nikita Ojha has a wide range of work experience, beginning in 2010 when they were an Intern at Biocon. From 2011 to 2016, they worked at Texas A&M University as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant. In 2016, Ojha also worked as a Research Volunteer at BioCurious and as a Strain Engineer at Ginkgo Bioworks, Inc. Finally, since 2018, they have been employed at Amyris as a Senior Associate Scientist, Associate Scientist III, and Associate Scientist II, with duties including designing and engineering metabolic pathways, optimizing growth conditions, and developing and optimizing assays.

Nikita Ojha obtained a Master's Degree in Biology from Texas A&M University in 2016 and a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from Anna University in 2010. In June 2020, they also obtained a certification in Industrial Biotechnology from Technische Universiteit Delft.
