Marco Grimaldi is an experienced data architect and leader with a robust background in data strategy and analytics. Currently serving as a Data Architect Principal Officer at An Garda Síochána since January 2021, Marco previously held key positions including Lead Data Architect at the Central Statistics Office and Senior Manager in Analytics & Information Management at Deloitte, where collaborative projects were delivered alongside government and international institutions. Earlier roles include Global Head of Data Science at HarperCollins Publishers, Statistician at Accenture Analytics Innovation Centre, and various academic positions at University College Dublin and Trinity College Dublin. Marco holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Trinity College Dublin and an M.Sc. in Physics from Università di Trento.
