Prahladh S. Iyer

Prahladh S. Iyer is a highly experienced research scientist with a strong background in aerospace engineering and fluid dynamics. Currently serving as a Senior Research Scientist at Analytical Mechanics Associates since June 2023, Prahladh previously held the position of Senior Research Scientist at the National Institute of Aerospace from May 2015 to May 2023, along with roles as a Research Scientist and Postdoctoral Research Scholar. Prahladh's expertise includes high-fidelity direct numerical simulations of turbulence and thorough research on roughness-induced transitions. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics from the University of Minnesota, and a B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka.
