Joe Sheffer

Joe Sheffer is an experienced biopharmaceutical professional currently serving as Associate Director of Early Stage Development in CMC at AnaptysBio since March 2011. With a strong background in protein expression strategies for therapeutic antibodies, Joe has held multiple roles including Senior Program Manager and Program Manager within CMC. Prior experience includes a position at Ambrx, where Joe developed innovative methods for biotherapeutic production and contributed to key technology development programs, resulting in several patents. Joe holds a B.A. in Molecular Biology from Princeton University, an M.A. in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from UC Santa Barbara, and a Certificate in Biotechnology Project Management from UC San Diego Extended Studies.
