Oscar Velastegui

Oscar Velastegui is an accomplished executive in program management with extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Currently serving as Executive Director, Program Management at AnaptysBio since September 2023, Oscar has held similar senior roles at Biotheryx, Inc. and Arena Pharmaceuticals, Inc., among others. Oscar's career includes significant positions at Receptos, Inc., Lumena/Shire Pharmaceuticals, and Pfizer, where roles encompassed leadership in project management across various therapeutic areas. Oscar began career as a Project Manager at Amgen and has progressed through various management levels, demonstrating expertise and leadership throughout. Oscar holds an MBA from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School and a B.S. in Biology from UC San Diego.
