Paul Brewer

Paul Brewer is an experienced biochemist with a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Nevada, Reno. Currently serving as Associate Director at AnaptysBio since June 2018, Paul holds multiple roles including Senior Scientist II and previously Senior Scientist, where significant contributions have been made in the production, purification, and characterization of therapeutic proteins. Prior experience includes a Senior Scientist position at Strykagen Corporation, focusing on therapeutic proteins for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, and a Postdoctoral Researcher role at the University of Nevada School of Medicine, where novel therapeutics for Type II Diabetes were identified. Paul’s academic background also includes graduate research at the University of Nevada Reno, involving insulin signaling mechanisms and motor protein studies, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry.
