Guido Appenzeller

Guido Appenzeller is a seasoned technology executive and investor currently serving as a Partner at Andreessen Horowitz, focusing on infrastructure and AI since October 2022. Prior experience includes a role as Special Advisor and CTO of the Data Center Business Unit at Intel Corporation, overseeing key products and client relationships in various sectors from January to October 2021. As Chief Product Officer at Yubico, Guido was instrumental in launching Yubikey-as-a-Service. Previously, Guido held positions such as Chief Technology Officer for Cloud & Networking at VMware and CEO and Co-Founder of Big Switch Networks, which was acquired by Arista. Guido has co-founded Voltage Security, served as an Executive in Residence at Morgenthaler, and has academic credentials including a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stanford University.
