Cornelius Messner

Cornelius Messner is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the hydro industry, currently serving as the VP & Division Manager of Compact Hydro at ANDRITZ since September 2007. Messner has held several leadership roles within ANDRITZ, including CEO of Andritz Hydro France, General Manager/CEO of Andritz Hydro Turkey and Andritz Hydro Spain, and Deputy General Manager in Spain. In addition to practical industry experience, Messner has contributed to academia as an Associate Lecturer in Project Management at Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University and in Risk Claim and Contract Management at the Applied University of Kempten from December 2011 to January 2017. Prior to joining ANDRITZ, Messner worked as Project Commercial Manager at ABB. Messner holds an MBA in International Business Management and Leadership from the University of Cape Town, a certification in Dispute Resolution, and a diploma in Business Administration from Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University Mannheim.
