Thomas Kohl

Thomas Kohl is an experienced professional in renewable energy and technology management, currently serving as Technology Director for Renewable Fuels at ANDRITZ since November 2023. Prior roles include Head of Technology - MSW at Neste OYJ and Technology Manager - MSW at Neste, where Kohl focused on technological assessments, due diligence, and project development in biorefinery processes. Earlier experience includes a decade at Aalto University School of Engineering as a Postdoctoral Researcher and PhD researcher, where research concentrated on innovative biomass processes and project management. Additionally, Kohl worked as a Project Engineer at the University of Stuttgart, specializing in engine testing and technical improvements. Thomas Kohl earned a Doctor of Science in Technology from Aalto University and a Diplom-Ingenieurin in Environmental Technology from the University of Stuttgart.
