Nick is an infectious diseases physician and Professor of Tropical Medicine at the University of Oxford. He has worked in Southeast Asia for several decades, and currently is director of the Mahidol-Oxford Tropical Medicine Research Unit (MORU) based in Bangkok, Thailand.
Over the past ten years he has collaborated with Angkor Hospital for Children on finding the causes of illness in Cambodian children coming to AHC with fever and other infections, so that the treatment they are given can be optimised.
