Kumar Ramanathan is an experienced professional in product management and business leadership with significant expertise in the coatings, adhesives, construction, energy, and specialty application markets. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Product Management at Advancion Corporation since November 2018, Kumar previously held the position of Global Business Director at Ashland, where management of 15 product lines generated approximately $1 billion in revenue. Earlier roles at Ciba included NAFTA Industry Manager for the North American Coatings Business, as well as Production Manager and Senior Production Engineer, focusing on water-based dyes and organic pigment manufacturing. Kumar holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the State University of New York College at Buffalo and a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
