Patrice Sterling

Patrice Sterling is a dedicated professional with significant experience in software development and educational initiatives. As a Co-Founder of EdEquity Initiative, Patrice aims to transform education in Jamaica by ensuring all students have access to necessary academic resources. Current roles include Software Dev Engineering Intern at Apple, contributing to data visualization and watchOS integration, and volunteering as Program and Events Manager at AnitaB.org, fostering community engagement. Patrice also serves as a Project Management Student Leader for Rewriting the Code, impacting over 13,000 students, and has held positions at Microsoft, ColorStack, the National Society of Black Engineers, and the Society of Women Engineers. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Informatics at Penn State University, Patrice holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Bluefield State University and a high school diploma from Titchfield High School.
