Joshua Edwards

Joshua Edwards serves as a Senior Director in the European Private Credit team at Barings since May 2025 and concurrently acts as a Managing Director in the European practice group at Ankura since August 2021, bringing extensive experience across various geographies and sectors from SMEs to listed PLCs. Joshua also contributes to the academic community as a Guest Tutor at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, since September 2021. Prior to these roles, Joshua held a Captain position in the British Army's Household Cavalry Regiment from February 2017 to August 2021, focusing on operational planning and inter-agency delivery with experience in the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and the UK. Earlier experience includes an Executive role in Transaction Advisory Services at EY from July 2012 to February 2017. Joshua's educational background includes ACCA in Accounting, a Postgraduate Certificate in Leadership & Conflict Studies from Cranfield University, and leadership training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
