President of the Royal Northern Agricultural Society, David was co-opted to our board in September 2014. David is Chief Executive of Duncan Farms at Muirden, Turriff – farming 11,000 acres in addition to an egg laying enterprise with around 500,000 laying hens and is managing partner of renewable firm, Muirden Energy. David was announced as ‘Farmers Weekly Farm Manager of the Year’ in 2014 and is the former Chairman of the North East Farm Association and currently on the committee for the Turriff show.
