Jeff Rodgers

Jeff Rodgers is a legal professional with extensive experience in mortgage compliance and banking law. Currently serving as Managing Director and Mortgage Compliance Counsel at Annaly Capital Management since August 2021, Rodgers has previously held significant positions at Flagstar Bank as SVP and Deputy General Counsel for Mortgage Banking and at Akerman Senterfitt LLP as Shareholder in the National Consumer Finance Litigation & Compliance Practice Group. Other notable roles include Vice President and Senior Regulatory Counsel at CoreLogic, Senior Counsel II at PNC Bank, and Assistant General Counsel at both Bank of America (formerly Countrywide Financial) and Citi. Rodgers began a career in law at Washington Mutual, Inc. as VP and Counsel and strongly supports lending and servicing functions in financial institutions. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from The University of Toledo College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Youngstown State University.
