Peter Sunna has a long and varied career in the tech industry. Peter began their career in 2002 as a Research Engineer at Umeå University, where they developed the real-time character animation toolkit ReplicantBody in C++. In 2004, they became a Consultant at Funka Nu AB, helping to build the company's competence around EPiServer CMS. Peter then moved on to Hallvarsson & Halvarsson in 2006 as a Consultant, where they designed and developed a software framework for global companies. In 2007, they joined HiQ as a Consultant, where they helped profile the company as an agile business. From 2008 to 2012, they worked at Episerver as a Product Manager and Solution Architect. Peter then became the Owner of 1000 Location in 2012. In 2015, they joined Contentful as the Head of Product, where they led and scaled a diverse and curious product team, and contributed to a business strategy with 15x revenue growth. In 2019, they worked as a Startup Advisor and Product Strategy Consultant at Contentful. Most recently, in 2020, they became the Chief Product Officer at Frontastic - a commercetools company. Currently, they are the VP Product at Kognic.
Peter Sunna obtained a Master of Science in Computer Science from Umeå University between 1997 and 2002. In 2018, they obtained a Situational Leadership certification from The Center for Leadership Studies. In 2011, they obtained a Pragmatic Marketing Certified certification from Pragmatic Marketing. In 2007, they obtained a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
