Sergio Macchiavello is a Process Engineer at Ansaldo Nucleare since May 2023, previously serving as a Project Engineer at RINA from June 2013 to May 2023. In this role, Sergio managed project control activities, drafted technical and commercial proposals for consultancy services, and represented the company in H2020 project consortia, including NEXTGEAR and MAREWIND. Additionally, responsibilities included conducting CFD and FEM analyses, training staff and clients, and managing numerical modeling tools. Prior to this, Sergio was a Visiting Investigator at the International Flame Research Foundation, contributing to a project on ultra low NOx combustion technology. Sergio holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering from Università di Pisa and completed a scientific high school diploma.
