Riccardo Manno

Riccardo Manno is a highly experienced engineering professional currently serving as a Senior R&D Engineer in the Mechanical Business Unit for Multiscale Composites Scientific Computing at Ansys since April 2022. Previously, Riccardo held multiple roles at Ansys, including R&D Engineer II in both the Mechanical BU and Cloud Solutions & Enablement, as well as Application Engineer II on the Platform team. Prior to Ansys, Riccardo worked as a Research Associate in Physics-Based Modelling at the University of Bristol, supported by the Impact Acceleration Account and involved in a Knowledge Transfer Secondment with Rolls-Royce. Riccardo's academic background includes a PhD in Advanced Composites from the University of Bristol, alongside an MPhil in the same field and a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Università degli Studi di Palermo, where Riccardo also completed a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
