Shane Emswiler joined ANSYS as a result of the Ansoft acquisition in 2008. He is currently Senior Vice President and General Manager, Physics business units. He has been in the simulation industry for almost 15 years, bringing significant experience to his current role. Prior to that he led the Electronics business unit, something he had done since 2010 when he transitioned from Chief Financial Officer of Ansoft. Prior to joining Ansoft, he was a Senior Manager with Ernst & Young LLP.
