Anwei Zhu

Anwei Zhu is an experienced audit and risk management professional currently serving as the Head of Internal Audit for Ant Group International Business Group since May 2019. Zhu manages the internal audit function for Ant Group's international operations, focusing on digital banking and payment systems across EMEA, APAC, and North America, with extensive knowledge of regulations and key risks such as AML and IT. Prior roles include leading internal audit at MYbank, China's first digital bank, and serving as Vice President at Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse, among others. Zhu has a robust background in operational risk, internal controls, and regulatory compliance, supported by an MBA in Accounting from the University of New Haven and an associate's degree in international commerce from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
