Alejandro Guzman

Alejandro Guzman is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Executive Director of Marketing and Public Information at Antelope Valley College since January 2023. Prior to this role, Alejandro held the position of Deputy Director of Communications at the California College Guidance Initiative from July to December 2022 and worked as the Public Relations Manager at Los Angeles Mission College from December 2014 to July 2022. Alejandro's career also includes experience as a Digital Content Strategist at Children's Hospital Los Angeles and as Communications Manager at the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce. Alejandro began in journalism as a Community Reporter at the Los Angeles Daily News. Alejandro holds a Master’s Degree in Communication Management from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from California State University, Northridge.
