Joe Lynch

Joe Lynch, PhD, is a highly experienced clinical research professional currently serving as the Clinical Research Lead at the Trauma and Orthopaedic Research Unit since April 2014. In this role, Joe manages all aspects of clinical research and supervises medical and higher degree students as well as orthopaedic registrars. Additionally, Joe holds a position as a Senior Research Officer at The Australian National University since September 2021 and has served as an Associate Lecturer at the Sydney Orthopaedic Research Institute from June 2010 to February 2014. Joe's early career includes roles as a Research Coordinator at GPSports Systems and as a Sales Representative for MBT Footwear Australia. Educationally, Joe earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine from The Australian National University between 2017 and 2020, a Master of Science in Biomechanics from the University of Ottawa from 2005 to 2007, and a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa from 2000 to 2004.
