Tony Travouillon is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in astrophysics and education. Currently serving as Associate Dean (HDR) and Associate Professor at The Australian National University since January 2018, Tony is part of the Adaptive Optics Team at the advanced instrumentation and technology centre. Previous roles include Instructor at the Institute for Educational Advancement, Adjunct Professor at College of the Canyons, and Systems Scientist at the Thirty Meter Telescope Observatory, where Tony contributed to site selection and performance evaluation of observatory conditions. Additional experience includes a Visiting Associate position at the California Institute of Technology, focused on Antarctic climate research, and managing Sweet Maker of Sydney. Tony holds a PhD in Astrophysics and a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Astronomy from UNSW.
