Ilia Karas is an experienced product management professional with a strong background in directing product strategy and execution across various sectors, including real estate and financial services. As the Director of Product Management at Anywhere Real Estate Inc. since November 2022, Ilia oversees strategic initiatives for homeowner customer lifecycles. Prior roles include Founder of Mouse Live, Inc. and Director of Product Management at Newrez LLC, where efforts focused on enhancing consumer experience in the real estate market. Ilia previously served as Senior Product Manager at Fannie Mae, developing the DU Validation Service to improve loan origination processes, and held positions at Capital One, where leadership involved designing mobile banking applications. With notable tenures at organizations such as Gannett/USA TODAY Network and Pulsar Venture Capital, Ilia’s expertise encompasses product road mapping, performance analysis, and cross-functional team leadership. Ilia holds dual B.S. degrees in Finance and Information Systems from the University of Maryland College Park.
