Maurick Scholten

Maurick Scholten is an experienced project manager and environmental manager with a robust background in hydrology and water resource management. Currently, Maurick serves as the Project Manager for global education events at the AO Foundation, overseeing the flagship AO Recon Davoser courses since May 2022. Prior to this role, Maurick held positions as a Sales Employee at Bardill Sport and as an Environmental Manager and Project Manager at Vitens, where responsibility included ensuring the political relevance of drinking water issues and compliance of resources in the Province of Utrecht. Maurick's expertise in hydrology was further developed during a tenure at Royal HaskoningDHV as an IPMA D certified Project Manager and Hydrogeologist, focusing on significant projects such as the Port of Rotterdam and Qatar Railways. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Hydrology and Water Resources Science and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Utrecht University.
