Patrick Lacey is a Senior Process R&D Scientist at APC Ltd since October 2016, providing research and development support and collaboration within the Process Development Group. Responsibilities include planning and delivering R&D pharmaceutical research projects, optimizing pharmaceutical processes, and training junior staff. Prior to APC Ltd, Patrick worked at Merck, Sharpe & Dohme from January 2001 to September 2016 as a Process Development Chemist, where significant contributions included the technical transfer and validation of API products, and developing cost-saving synthesis methods. Patrick holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from University College Dublin.
