Dimitri Milito has over 25 years of work experience in software engineering and management roles. Dimitri started their career as a software engineer at Scorpio in 1996, where they worked until 1997. From 1997 to 1999, they served as an external consultant (Software Engineer) at De Vaderlandsche Spaarbank (ING). Dimitri then worked at Sydney Tristar as a software engineer and external consultant for various companies, including Bank J. Van Breda & C°. In 1999, they joined Aperam as a Senior Software Engineer, where they held various roles until 2016. From 2002 to 2004, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Aperam, and from 2005 to 2011, they served as a Senior Software Engineer and EAI responsible. In 2011, they were promoted to Project Manager and later became the Head of MES competency center Genk from 2016 to 2020. Currently, they are the Head of EAI, Middleware, and Cloud (appli) at Aperam, responsible for three domains/teams at the corporate level.

Dimitri Milito holds a Bachelor's degree in IT from Hogeschool Limburg (Hasselt). Dimitri also studied Latin and Mathematics at Sint Jozef Instituut (Bokrijk). Additionally, they have obtained certifications in PRINCE2 Foundation certificate in Project Management from APMG-International, as well as various Microsoft certifications.
