Dave Chambers has a long history of work experience in software engineering. Dave began their career in 1994 as a Programmer at Lumina Office Products and Stylus Assets LLC, where they wrote embedded fax code in C and a Windows App to control the device via IEEE 1284. In 1995, they moved to Visioneer as a Programmer. In 1997, they joined Silicon Gaming as a Programmer. In 1999, they became a Programmer at Claria, where they were the third employee and co-author of a Windows-based contextual advertising app. Dave wrote an over-the-wire auto-updater which installed tens of millions of updates every month. In 2009, they joined M2S as a Programmer and R&D Manager. In 2011, they joined Labsphere, Inc. as a Programmer and R&D Manager, where they were the lead developer of a next-generation light-measurement application. Dave architected a browser-based design using WebSockets and wrote all of the frontend (html/js/css). In 2014, they joined MadgeTech, Inc. as an IoT Engineer. In 2016, they became a Lead Engineer at Orange Photonics, Inc. In 2020, they returned to MadgeTech, Inc. as a Firmware/Mobile/IoT Engineer. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Aperia Technologies as a Principal Software Engineer.

Dave Chambers attended UC Santa Barbara, where they studied Math/CompSci.
