Joshua Carter has been in the workforce since 2005. Joshua began their career as a Mechanical Design Intern at Inogen Inc. in 2005. In 2007, they took on the role of Mechanical Design Engineer at Space Systems Loral, where they were responsible for the mechanical design of satellite antenna components. This included design, documentation, test, and analysis of various components and sub-systems, utilizing cutting-edge composites technology, materials, manufacturing processes, and design principles. In 2009, Joshua joined Stanford University as a member of the Teaching Team for ME310 & ME113. Finally, in 2010, Joshua became the Co-Founder & CEO of Aperia Technologies.
Joshua Carter attended Stanford University, where they earned their MS in Design Methodology. Joshua then attended UC Santa Barbara, where they earned their BS in Mechanical Engineering.
