Chris Weatherford has extensive work experience in various roles within the architecture and project management fields. Chris began their career in 1994 as an Architect at Architecture, Incorporated, where they worked until 1997. From 1997 to 1998, they served as an Architect at Heyward Boyd & Anderson. In 1998, they joined VMDO Architects as a Project Architect and remained there until 2006. From 2006 to 2015, Chris worked at Barton Malow as a Senior Project Manager. Currently, they are employed at Apex Clean Energy, where they started in 2015 as the Director of Project Management, and now holds the position of Vice President of Project Management.
Chris Weatherford attended Virginia Tech from 1989-1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Architecture degree. In 2000, they became a licensed architect in the Commonwealth of Virginia. In 2006, they earned the LEED Accredited Professional certification from the US Green Building Council.
